Arrived @ 1:45 to weak wind. Rigged 7.5 & on the water @ 2:30. Pretty powered up by then and building. By 3:45 finned down, added outhaul and downhaul and survived until 4:30. Also going very WNW with wind blowing right into the small bay with picnic pavillon E of launch. Pretty gusty during my final session, sometimes either slogging or sailing sheeted out to survive the gusts & swirls. Wind kept building as I derigged and by 5:15 when I left it appeared to be full on 6.0 and very WNW.
Just me and the seagulls, a totally private experience. A couple of fishermen arrived while I was rigging but their boat motor wouldn't start and they left after some tinkering.
