Lots of clouds when I got there with very variable wind. Had almost half hour of decent 7.0 wind before getting blown off the lake. John and George showed up and we all rigged 5.2’s and that ended up being the ticket for the afternoon. By then the clouds were clearing back and we were getting great runs, especially going north. The south rides were pretty choppy at times with John musing whether we could ever break a board flying through the chop. Good time to stay away from shores and island. The shallow area NE of the ramp is out of the water and I ran aground on the north side in knee deep mud. The shallow section east of the island is extending a lot further. The dock is totally out of the water. Pray for a wet winter. Still, great afternoon of sailing.
