Tons of smoke coming over the mountains east of Park City, Utah on fire again. Glad it stayed south of Sulfur. Reluctant to go to Sulfur when I saw the Evanston airport reading NNW and Wasatch hill reading NE. In fact Wasatch hill was still NE when I drove by. Evanston was windless until I hit strong SW winds at the Sinclair on the way out of town. The front had to be right over Evanston. Anyway, glad I went. Pretty much a repeat of yesterday. On the water at noon in 23mph SW winds. With the SW winds the chop was absent. Worn out by 2:00 and took a nap. Woke up before 3:00 to the van rocking and the wind up to 25. Sailed until 4:00 and had some Oreos while I dried the sail to pack and leave. My Oreo to blood ratio must have been too low as my energy surged and I hit the water again sailing until 5:00. Wow, what a windy week. Sulfur is such a sweet place to sail when the rip-and-schlog and chop are gone.

Sailing both the Gorge and Utah on my 8'2" HiTech and my 3 Starboards; Sonic 85L, S-Type 115L, and Carve 135L. Small quiver is Northwave, larger sails are Ezzy and Sailworks. Often in my white Odyssey but also in my wife's motor home.
