They were predicting a few clouds, not a raging rainstorm in the Salt Lake valley. But it is still 2019. Rain storm killed predicted wind for a while but the wind finally kicked into gear at 9:30. Blown off the 7.0 after a half hour and went to the 6.0. John just put his 6.5 on his 85L and kept going. We were run off the lake by a rainstorm at 11:00 and both packed the equipment. The sun came out again to show a ton of whitecaps and John kidded that I would be re-rigging the 6.0 as he drove off. Got 2 more sesh’s on the 6.0, including one on the 86 liter, and then a half hour on the 5.2. Josh showed up and rigged a foil while I packed. He got some good rides before the lightning started popping at 4:00. Ran into a fierce rainstorm on the way home and a ton of backed up traffic but still smiling.

Sailing both the Gorge and Utah on my 8'2" HiTech and my 3 Starboards; Sonic 85L, S-Type 115L, and Carve 135L. Small quiver is Northwave, larger sails are Ezzy and Sailworks. Often in my white Odyssey but also in my wife's motor home.
