Pretty darn cold when I got there and then I saw a guy in t-shirt and shorts run into the water and dive under. Even with rubber on it was too cold for that (right around 40 degrees). At least it was sunny for the 1st half of the morning. At 9:00 it was already solid 6.0 for some great screaming reaches. The air and water were both frigid so I managed to stay up on the board for a little over 1.5 hours. Then it got so gusty I got slapped down a couple of times for brain freezes. Ended up sailing until 12:30 and came off the water with a huge grin. There were a couple of beginners there but I didn't get there name before they headed down to the south end of the lake. Not the kind of day when you want to be learning.

Sailing both the Gorge and Utah on my 8'2" HiTech and my 3 Starboards; Sonic 85L, S-Type 115L, and Carve 135L. Small quiver is Northwave, larger sails are Ezzy and Sailworks. Often in my white Odyssey but also in my wife's motor home.
