Grants has started up spring with a couple of days of strong wind. Another 5.2 day but this time it lasted until we ran out of energy. Plenty of trips across with way more wind than the sail wanted but often a little light on the west side and just as often absolutely screaming on the east side. It was quite puffy for Grants and it was nothing short of a rodeo the whole day. I think John and I both ended up down in the water at least 5 times compared to none yesterday. Now we can attest to the water being frigid. John measured the water at near 45 but it seemed even colder. Still, unusually warm air for March meant the hands stayed reasonably warm. And only a short walk to the water. Great day!

Sailing both the Gorge and Utah on my 8'2" HiTech and my 3 Starboards; Sonic 85L, S-Type 115L, and Carve 135L. Small quiver is Northwave, larger sails are Ezzy and Sailworks. Often in my white Odyssey but also in my wife's motor home.
