CA & I met at Yuba about 2:30 or so at the Oasis campground. Winds were light and straight onshore. Rigged 6.0 & 5.8 with the big boards. Just as were launching the wind strengthen and switched to the south. Did a few laps on the big boards and then switched to the 98L & 94L . Before long, overpowered with the big sails but didn't want to risk re-rigging. We finally conceded to get small. While re-rigging, the wind went straight off-shore and then finally died. All in all, worth the drive!
