Lots of wind and Josh already rigging when I got there at 7:15. Grants city meter already reading 21g24 and peaked at 24G29 at 9:00. Patrick and Mike M joined us before we finished rigging. I rigged the 6.0/112L but got blown off in 2 round trips. Switched to the 86L Sonic and ripped until 10:00. Josh was on his 5.6 and Patrick was on a 6.2. All of us got there early figuring it would die-off quick with the heat and it did. When it died back I switched to the 112L and Josh switched to the foil but it was dropping off too fast to be much fun. Only one boat plowing around compared to the 13 last weekend. Grasshoppers everywhere. There were a thousand gulls around last weekend, they are probably too stuffed to fly anymore as they never showed up. Great morning!!

Sailing both the Gorge and Utah on my 8'2" HiTech and my 3 Starboards; Sonic 85L, S-Type 115L, and Carve 135L. Small quiver is Northwave, larger sails are Ezzy and Sailworks. Often in my white Odyssey but also in my wife's motor home.
