NWS was predicting North wind, and indeed there was a light North breeze in the morning and early afternoon, but at around 2:30 the direction changed to SW. Very feeble at first, but by the time I got to IB whitecaps were starting to appear. Windspeed was averaging about 10mph with occasional gust into the high teens. I initially rigged 6.0, which turned out to be too much sail; 5.0 worked much better.

The water level continues to rise SLOWLY; it has just about reached the lower edge of the rocks. Water temp now 54ºF.
