Got to IB around noon at which point the wind was blowing in the low teens but appeared to be building. The 5.0 that I rigged (for foiling) quickly proved to be a major handful, so I switched to my non-foiling board. Initially I was a bit under powered, but as the gusts got stronger and stronger, I started to get rides, as did Stone (6.5) and George (7.5).
Exceptionally gusty; peak gust 38 mph, average 12 mph. The water level is dropping; the water's edge is now a good 5 yards from the bottom of the pedestrian ramp near the restrooms. Water temp: 64.

Hey Jim,

Glad to hear you guys got some wind today. The NOAA forecast for tomorrow looks promising.

Fingers crossed, I'm bringing a full assortment of gear.
