Looked at Grants readings when I woke up at 6:00 and wind looked promising but 39 degrees, whoa! It had managed to climb to 47 degrees by the time I hit the water at 8:30 and, with the water warming up (or should I say getting less cold), I was pretty toasty for the sesh. Sailed on the big board as wind speeds started out light but steady. By close to 10:00 I was really getting some good rides when it suddenly died. 10 minutes later some major wind lines started rolling through so I switched to the 112L speed board and got solid screaming reaches for 40 minutes. Then it died back again and I bagged it. May hasn’t been much of a sailing month and it was good to see Grants coughing up a sesh.

Sailing both the Gorge and Utah on my 8'2" HiTech and my 3 Starboards; Sonic 85L, S-Type 115L, and Carve 135L. Small quiver is Northwave, larger sails are Ezzy and Sailworks. Often in my white Odyssey but also in my wife's motor home.
