Me and my dad go to the Island right around 10 with solid whitecaps on the water. After watching some gusts role by we decided to rig a 4.5 and a 4.7 and hope that the lows we were manageable. We got on the water by 10:30 with semi consistent wind that got stronger and more consistent as the day went on until about 1:00 when the wind got very gusty and liney. very pleased with the rare ripping day at Deer Creek.
