When it went funky at 9:15 on Monday we decided to get up earlier and get to the lake by 7:00 Tuesday. That didn’t do us much good as the wind was pretty minimalist for a while on the 5.8/6.0 rigs. We switched to 7.0/6.5 and started getting more rides until 9:00 when we got blown back to the small rigs for the best wind of the day. The wind was coming straight down the lake most of the morning which isn’t ideal but we ended up getting a ton of rides. Very hot packing up. With the grasshoppers hatching there were big flocks of birds around. The lake was just stocked but still only about 3 fishermen. Good morning.
