04/08 DCCB, 5M/130L/84cm foil/76 cm foil mast
Posted: Fri Apr 08, 2022 7:48 pmFaint hints of wind from about noon on, but didn't really start building until about 2:30. By the time I got to DCCB there were whitecaps near the far shore, and the wind was filling in. Ended up being quite steady by DC standards 
Got some good foil rides, no jibes.
The lake level continues to rise slowly; the walk to the water has decreased by about 5 yards since Monday. And the water temp continues to rise. I got a reading of 55ºF with my repurposed hot tub thermometer. Couldn't really believe it, so I checked with my IR thermometer and got 56ºF.
The white pelicans are back.
