NOAA predicting 7mph so how did it max out at 25g35? Anyway, looked at 5:00, 11g12, no way. Looked at 6:00 even lower, then 6:20, in the car in 10 minutes. Didn’t look that great when I got there. So rigged 7.0/135L. Immediately regretted it and came back for 112L. Still way to windy. Should have rigged 5.0 but went with 6.0/112L, then switched to 86L. Still ragged edge. By then Josh was doing well on a 4.8 and I should have rerigged but I already had 2 sails and 3 boards rigged. The basic problem was you couldn’t see it from shore. The wind was really west and the wild wind was in the middle of the lake (call it adrenaline alley). Oh well, had enough wild screaming blasts to go home smiling. Plenty of wingers out. The water has gone out at least 12' just since last Friday.

Sailing both the Gorge and Utah on my 8'2" HiTech and my 3 Starboards; Sonic 85L, S-Type 115L, and Carve 135L. Small quiver is Northwave, larger sails are Ezzy and Sailworks. Often in my white Odyssey but also in my wife's motor home.
