Got to the lake around 2:00 PM. Half of the lake had a breeze trying to push through from the west / northwest, but the flow coming up Provo canyon and through Deer Creek must have prevented it from pushing through. For 20 minutes things looked bleak, but I had rigged so went out to slowly cruise around the lake. Eventually some small gusts punched through from north. I started getting 10-20 second rides with 1-2 minute holes between planing rides. Eventually, it filled in and I was getting rides across the lake and back. Had an enjoyable session for about an hour fully powered with the 7,5 90% of the time. Still floating logs in the water, but managed to avoid them this time. It's like Russian roulette out there! Never know when you're going to hit one on a plane.

Wow, Grant, thanks for the warning on the logs! Not sure my reflexes would be quick enough to save me. You da man (er, da bold man!)
