We were met at the left-hand turn off from the dirt road to the reservoir by a Tooele County Sheriff, who kindly explained that the reservoir was closed, due to, sadly, a drowning yesterday evening. They were awaiting search divers to locate the body. A fisherman, who evidently couldn't swim, had walked or fallen into deeper water and gone in. A strong microburst occurred about then and he was unable to get back to shore.

The officer suggested checking with TCSD or watching the news to see what the status on the reservoir opening might be before coming out again.
