Yeepee.. my first wind log in a while!!
Following Craig's advice I went to Rocky Point after quickly getting a new menbership/key...
WOW.. Sooo windy. I got there around 3;00 PM to see 1 person on the water and a few on the beach already washed to shore!
I wanted to sail sooo bad. No way I was getting skunked because of too much wind.
I rigged the 4.9 reaaaal flat, got the 8.5" skeg on the wave board and I was good to go.. well sort of. I mostly got tumbled, washed, spanked, pulled and pushed around but that was a lot of fun :D
I seemed to be getting into spin-outs just about everywhere between the fin too short for the overpowered sail and the mean pieces of weed waiting for the right time to introduce another element of funkiness to the lesson I was being given.

Sweeet...
