BWB cleanup with State Park 5/5
Posted: Tue Apr 24, 2018 8:42 amThe State Park would like to help the kite community with a beach clean up May 5th at 10:30. They are doing this to show there support in providing access to our unique Kiteboarding launch and staging area. Projects will include removing the Barb wire fence and post along the water line and picking up trash and debris.
If your available please come down, help out and meet some of the crew from the park.
We will not be focusing on the willows at this time. It is on their list and Steve is in conversations with the Bureau of Reclamation as well as local land owner in the Area and they are trying to come up with a plan to control the willows around the lake shore.
The Park is thinking about some site improvements and they want to hear from the kite community for feed back.
Bing gloves and any other tools you thing might help. This should not take to long. Good Karma Kiting to follow.
