A Taste of Mona, Frid Sept 15

A beautiful day at Mona! Eileen and I arrived early afternoon to warm, mostly sunny skies and some baby white caps. Eileen sailed her one-size-fits-all 4.0 Ezzy Superlight and 185 Go for about 1 1/2 hours. Only person on the water; private lake! Wind then went nuclear! She managed a white knuckle ride back to the beach but a bit downwind. Since I had violated my first rule (bring everything), my smallest sail was the 5.0. Conditions were now gusty sub 4.0. I manage a few ugly rides and jibes on my HS 105 with Eileen's 4.0 superlight. Of course I had the perfect sail sitting at home. Duh! Oh well, needed some nap time in the sun. Great day overall!

Hi Dave,
Is Mona getting weed filled yet this summer?
