The warm before the storm; 41ºF at 8AM. Slowly building wind. By 10:45 there was just enough for a 7.0; by 11:10 it was time to rig down. Gusts to 28 mph. Half a dozen kiters at BWB. Water temp about 43ºF, air temp peaked at 50ºF. First year in memory when DC was full enough this late in the year to make launching at Charleston possible.
