After a week in the Gorge glad to be back on the home lake. And just like the Gorge where NOAA and Temira are frequently at odds with iWindsurf, the night and day shift NOAA guys were disagreeing here. Yesterday they were predicting 15 for Tooele then by 6:00 this morning it was 9 then by 7:30 it was back to 15 again. With Stockton at 5mph and the SLC airport calm it didn’t look very promising but then Stockton went up 15mph in one reading and I figured Grants would be blowing when I got there. Averaged 19 gusting 23 for the 2 hours I sailed which was perfect 7.0 conditions. It was a real boost to the spirits to see the lake has come up while I was gone. Great morning and perfect temp. Even the water temp was near identical to the Gorge but the air was definitely warmer. It was struggling to hit 60 in the desert when I left Roosevelt.

Sailing both the Gorge and Utah on my 8'2" HiTech and my 3 Starboards; Sonic 85L, S-Type 115L, and Carve 135L. Small quiver is Northwave, larger sails are Ezzy and Sailworks. Often in my white Odyssey but also in my wife's motor home.
