10/28 Craigs Where to Poppins
You don't need me to tell you it'll honk hard today form the South. Look for Grantsville AM in the 5.5 sail range,
becoming gusty 4.5 by the afternoon. DC looks to start early around 11 in the 5.5/10M range and stay strong
but very gusty through 6PM. Willard looks to be up around 11 AM in the 4.5/8M range, with gusty strong winds
most of the day. Mona and UL look to have 5.5/10M conditions from about 11 AM until dusk, with dips to 4.5/8.
Sulfur could also be ridden for gusty 5.5 sail conditions, but I'd stay down here for better wind.
Air temps will probably remain in the low 60s much of the afternoon, which could also develop passing rain showers
and T-storms. Stay alert for some very strong gusts out there, the base winds should be around 30MPH, but
there could be gusts up to 60MPH, so keep a weather eye on the horizon, and the up wind water, and get off
quick if you see a squall coming.
Tomorrow, cold, windless, and snow on the benches.
Weds cool and windless.
