4/13 Craig's Where to Ride
Posted: Wed Apr 13, 2011 8:54 amSome wind out there today. Grantsville looking like 6M conditions this AM and it might hang in to 2 or 3PM getting gustier
later. Rush will probably develop gusty SW 7/14 with maybe a dip to 6/12 around 3 PM. DC looking like gusty 7/14 Noon
until 3 or 4 PM (when it will get really squirrelly). Plus a good shot at Mona from Noon till 4 or 5PM in the 6/12M range,
and going on Tom W's forecast, good potential for solid South wind at Yuba from Noon till 5 or 6 PM. The general weather
looks best around Noon, with clouds and T- Storms moving in around 3 and rain moving in around 6, so figure that into
your preparations. Max high air temps might hit 60 around 1 or 2.
Tomorrow temps plunge to highs in the low 40s, and while there will be frigid North wind at UL, most of it will
come in the cold dawn hours. If you plan to brave the 40 degree air temps, I might suggest Rush around Noon
for steady brutally cold 7/14.
Friday looks lack luster for wind with maybe a chance at DC with mid 50s air temps and some sun and clouds.
