06/06 DCIB 6.6m sail, 96L board
SSW wind started about 1:30 and built very gradually, plateauing in the 5-14 range, tantalizing but not quite enough to justify rigging. Then about 3:15 it started building, and by the time I got on the water at 4:20, it was 6.6 (for me, at least) and hair dryer steady. Started backing off and getting a bit gusty about 6 PM. Mike, who was kiting (12M) at BWB, agreed that it was some of the steadiest wind we'd ever experienced at DC.
