Yes, I know, too big a board for a sail that small.
Wind came up yesterday before noon and is just now starting to die out (although it's still gusting to 20 occasionally). Very gusty when I arrived about 10:30, but steadied out by the time I finished rigging my 5.0; one reach out and back made it apparent that I was rigged too large. Rigged my 4.0 (my smallest sail) - better, but I'd have gone smaller if I could have. George, meanwhile, had gone out on his 86L board powered by his 4.7 and, as usual, was killing it. One kiter came through on a dam run, several others riding off BWB (5 cars vs. yesterday's 13).
