Good day at Willard Bay! winds were up in the 14m range and very smooth for Utah early morning(9am-11am) then died off.. came back up to 14m around 345, 4pm, then kicked up HARD to the 9-12m range about 30 minutes later.. minor lull then someone flipped a switch and I went from fully powered to fully sheeted in in about 30 seconds on the 14m bandit 4.. good times, landings are slowly getting more consistent. rode with Jeff in the morning on his 14m Cabrinha and big twin tip, met another John(!) who showed up on a white 17m Slingshot...right as the wind died in the morning. Jeff and Jon and Leora left about 30 minutes before the wind came back up, so I had the lake all to myself kite wise.. with a couple knucklehead jetskis and a few boats who braved the chop..

interesting place to ride, the surface gets FAR more choppy then anywhere i've ever ridden, with no rhyme or reason to the directions the sometimes big(2.5-3.5 foot face) and steep OR gradual rollers going every which way.. reflection off of the rock edges, maybe?
