8/23 - 8/25 Hood River
Posted: Sun Aug 26, 2012 9:03 amWe got to the area Thursday afternoon. First stop Rufus but it was cranking there 32-38mph and my smallest kite is a 9. So onto the Hood. It was probably mid to high twenties there so I set up and played there for the afternoon. The wind was a little punchy so a little more work than normal.
There was still some left over wind Friday morning but by the time we got there, it was dying out. I put up my 16m kite and big board but it still wasn't enough. And that is where it ended.
Friday afternoon and Saturday, I was wishing I had my barefoot boat because it was a sheet of glass both days. Oh well.
