4/13 Yuba/Lincoln double dip
Posted: Sun Apr 14, 2013 12:18 pmStopped by DC and found Loopy, Capt Don and Shaggy waiting for wind. Looked iffy to me, so i continued on and decided to head for Yuba. I think that was the call for yesterday, but 3 hours earlier than when i got there. I kited the last hour+ before the switch. It was very gusty 10m. It was much smoother earlier according to the sensor. Wind got really gusty as the switch came on. entertained some rednecks for a while.
Headed back north to find the same DC crew had moved to LB. Kited an hour+ there on 7m/surfboard. Raining on and off at lincoln. It was one of those times where i asked myself, "what is wrong with me?" as i was heading out. Still nice timein the waves.
