I showed up at 2:00 having just been “retired” from Kennecott. The water was glass which seemed strange since Evanston was 20. Drove to the Narrows and it wasn’t much better. Drove back to Sulfur to find the wind had arrived along with Eric. It was perfect 7.0 when I rigged but all I could hang on to by the time I started sailing. After a half hour of wild rides rigged the 6.0 which killed the wind. Went back to the 7.0, the winds smoothed out to rival Grants morning thermals and, thankfully the chop went away for the perfect hour of evening sailing. The session lacked in quantity but huge on quality. Went home smiling.
