The wind didn't arrive until almost 4 and didn't peak until 4:30. Still, it provided half an hour or so of intermittent planing. The highlight of the session was seeing an eagle flying across the lake. Air temp about 60, water about 45. As Leo mentioned in his post from a couple of days age, the lake is close to being full. Improvements to the Charleston Bridge launch since last season include filling the pot holes in the access road and placement of Jersey barriers to prevent launching boats from trailers.

I was tempted to do a downwinder to CB from BWB. But I didn't know how the landing site would was like. :mrgreen:

Pretty hard to land a kite at Charleston, I would think; not much beach available.
