Great big kite to mid kite session at SSB. Wind was up early in the day. Seems like folks were down on big kite around 2pm or earlier. How was it that early Steve Mayer? I believe Steve was giving his foil board a shot. How'd that go? I showed up around 4:30 to about 6-7 kites on the water. Pumped 17 and headed out. Was on the lighter side for about an hour and then the wind really filled in. Was lit on 17 towards the end. I kited til about 8 pm with Asi being the last off the water. Beautiful sunset as usual & a great way to end the day.
