8/17, Sulfur, 7.0/6.0/115L/86L
NOAA predicting 24 so off I went. Pete had already been sailing 7.5/115L for 1.5 hours when I hit the water. There were occasional wild wind lines interspersed with fairly mild wind. After rigging the 6.0, I changed to the 7.0 and floaty board and was rewarded right off with a tail walking ride to the concrete tower and then a schlog back. The wind direction was swinging 45 degrees most of the sesh making it hard to stay upwind. Pretty much the story of the afternoon. Dennis showed up and was getting some decent rides on a 6.3 so I tried the 6.0/86L. Like Dennis, I got some great screaming reaches alternating with laying in the water in lulls. Oh well, got lots of rides.
