With no wind meter, went blind and it paid off. Rigged the 7.0 1st but decided it was a little up and down so rigged the 8.5. Totally powered on the 8.5 for an hour, went right on to the 7.0 at 9:00 for 1.5 hours of flying around, then back on the 8.5 as it was dying back. Quit at 11:00 with 3:00 hours of sailing and a big smile. Used the Fall steamer for the 1st time this half of the year and it was a sweatbath. 76 degrees by the time I quit. Should have stuck with the short sleeve suit with the rubber arm covers. The Stansbury’s were gorgeous at sunrise; the water now reaches the lake surface at 7:50. Sailed alone which is pretty unusual for Grants this Fall.

Ken, With the meter out I looked @ the town meter & it was 10 or 15 from the S which bodes well for the reservoir. I am glad u confirmed my prognosis. I couldn't go today or would have been there with u.
