Just another breezy Grants morning. A little more schlogging than yesterday but plenty of screaming reaches. Started dropping off at 10:00 which seemed early based on the NOAA aviation report. Still in summer suit but may be last time. Carl showed up in time to catch some planers before it died back.

Good to see Ken. It got me on the water seeing him getting rides as deep in the pit as I've ever seen. The mud puddle at the bottom is Utah Lake brown and the walk to the water's edge is longer than the reach at this point. The last 15 feet are kinda squishy mud that, thankfully, is only a foot sucking ankle deep. Meanwhile the east wall is easily an impressive double mast high. My rides were short but admittedly fun and I still didn't need a full suit. Not sure I'll be back this season but you never know I guess. And next season I promise to really appreciate it when the water level comes up so we can call it Grantsville reservoir, not Grantsville-puddle.
