4/25, Grants, 7.0/6.0, 112L/135L
No one predicting any south wind today so wasn't expecting anything. But somehow I was inspired to look at the SLC airport meter at 6:00 and 11mph was enough to bounce me out of bed. Expecting another 8.5 start when I got there at 8:00 but definitely windier than expected. Sailed 1/2 hour on the 7.0 and big floater then another half hour on the 112L then had to rig the 6.0 to survive. Finished off on the 7.0/112 when it started dyeing back a little after 10:00. Sure like my new RRD 112. Finally warm enough to ditch the hood. Don't know where all south wind came from but it seemed like the old Grants from back before the Salt Lake started disappearing. Sweet morning.
