Hadn't been sailing in a month, needed a fix, Craig forecasted a 7.0 afternoon at Sulfur, wanted to try out my new 7.5, if I could just get a couple of planning reaches I would be fine... Surprise! I got a whole afternoon of planning reaches! Slogged a few times, wind actually shut down for about 10 minutes, but for the most part a very enjoyable afternoon. 7.5 worked fine, even got on the 112 L board for awhile. Several wild sustained gusts made for some really thrilling rides. Cheap gas, a case of wine for my wife, a very good trip!
