I feel like I'm fairly hit-or-miss on my weather predictions, so anyone who cares to agree or disagree with this prediction is quite welcome to.
My "forecast" for the weekend is pointing toward a pretty light day tomorrow (Saturday) with an increasing trend towards the afternoon. Winds from the NW-ish, maybe 15 mph. Sunday looks like it should be a solid NW around 20.
I'm planning at this point to hit Strawbs on Sunday, but I'll bet Skyline will be OK for bigger gear tomorrow.
See you out there.

I agree, tomorrow should be good at Skyline or Rush. There will also be north wind at Powder Mountain. Sunday all locations look good on a north.
The snow conditions are not so great right now. As far as snow quality is concerned, I would rate Skyline and Rush ahead of Strawberry. I haven't been to Powder Mountain for quite some time, so I am unsure what the snow is like there. Maybe Augie or Les will give us a report.

Light winds on Friday, pretty much a skunk session, where I was hiking with the kite most the time. Did pick up towards the afternoon, looked like the wind was coming around all ready. The morning was due east and solid while light...the afternoon swung all they way from the west.
Heard from the crew that apparently Skyline had 10 meter weather till noon last Monday, and good Winds on Wednesday...while Thursday and Friday the wind competed for a lameness award.
Looks like good NW Sat/Sun at Skyline and more of a west trend at Strawbs. Skyline is tracked out in the Big Drifts area, and its chop, not powder if you go exploring. Yet its so warm that everything is a soft yet solid surface, Friday I was in a T shirt kiting as we were above the mucky inversion.
