Arrived about 1pm and rigged the 7.5, I was a little nervous with no one around, but Mike pulled up before I hit the water. On the second reach I was seriously over powered and rigged down to the 6.2. It rated one of the best Utah days ever. Just when I thought I couldn't get any better a flock of around 100 Pelicans buzzed me in the middle of the Lake. Grass to rig, sandy launch, consistent wind, bathrooms and showers--it doesn't get any better. Three more sailors showed up around five when I left.--TS

Great Day! Should have started on a 6.5.

I showed up around 6PM and quickly rigged my 6.3 and 100 liter board which got me planning for around 45 minutes. As the sun dropped behind the mountain I started heading in practically heading straight up wind. I forgot that the wind shifts west late in evening.
All in all a great day. Great launch site. That grass area is prefect for rigging. Cold showers to follow up a cold lake.
The association should install some sail mounts there to dry off the sails. Like a pole that sticks out of the ground one foot and the sail can be inserted vertically to dry in the wind.
