Showed up around 3pm. Not much going on. Came in great for about an hour with the 17 and my borther Alex on a 12 then got strong enough for me to ride a 12 Waroo. saw some clouds rolling in so I called it a day around 6:30.
There were a bunch of new kiters out there learning. Make sure and give them any helpful advice to help them stay safe. About a half hour after i put my kites away a huge microburst hit with gusts over 40mph. My wind gauge registered 35mph after it had calmed down a bit. Keep an eye over your shoulder but definitely help out all these new guys so they can learn too when it is safe to ride.

Thanks for the report. This forum is really useful to beginner and intermediate riders. We've all been there. It's usefull to hear where local riders are going. What type of conditions they consider good and bad? What is the attitude towards beginners? What hazards to look for?

Every post I read today, I look for useful info and usually get it. A lot of folks don't post their outings for various reasons, but alot of other folks can benefit by hearing what is going on and the good and the bad. Thanks again for the report. It's good to be reminded to look over my shoulder.
