Glad I decided to brave the traffic. I saw some of the cops getting ready for the Dick to arrive. Even with all his suck factor it blew well at Lincoln. I rode from about 5:00 to 7:00. I wish it had been a friday, could have rode till sunset. Good to see about 10 smiling kiters.

awesome day out there last night! the sun was shining, wind was blowing, people were getting taught and boards were being ridden (some strapless). i had a blast and it was nice seeing everybody out there. i rode mostly powered from about 4:30 to 7:00. the wind was at times light for the 14M waroo, which it seemed everybody was on. if they weren't, 13M instincts were the kite of choice. nicely powered the rest of the time.
sorry for the close call by the way, Mark. i'm still getting my water legs under me. last night was a great learning experience for me though. apparently i have a few fashion tips to learn too (who knew everybody wore boardshorts over their wetties). got a few top turns in, numerous chop hops and a small jump, not to mention riding toe side and a few sex changes (is that what they call it in kiteboarding?)
i look forward to everybody teaching me a trick or two in the future....
So good

Besides having to stare at Mike M's package the whole day it was a blast.
Got out around 2:00 and put up a 10 bularoo to help a friend learn. After he got it going. I stole Mikes 14 waroo for a bit and then went back out on the 10 again for some under powered riding. Only 2 months since the new Knee and was stoked when the Doc said I could give it a try strapless. Was very jealous to watch any one air, but was so happy to ride!!!! Good times, Good Times!!

I rode the 15m instinct and a small board. Mostly powered. Could have used a knot or two more but we were long overdue for a session like that. Thanks. More please.
