Arrived at 3:00 for the afternoon session, to find Ken tooling around on a 6.9, rigged a 7.5 and enjoyed a couple of hours of very nice sailing. As the wind picked up, we finally decided to rig down, Ken on a 6.0 and myself on a 5.7. Probably as consistent as it gets for an afternoon at Grants. Very few lulls and a very nice afternoon-evening! Finally left the water at about 7:30-8:00 as the sun was setting. I thought I had a nice day... however Ken had arrived in the morning as the sun was coming up and left at dark, sailing almost the entire day! Now that's a good day, even for Ken! Ken gets my vote for ironman of the year "again"... and it's still preseason.
