I know, let me have it.. The stars aligned last night and I was able to get to DC this afternoon at 1:45. Where was the usual crowd? I saw the bradshaws and DCJim ripping... Just like Craig predicted, big puffs started and caps were rolling. I rigged the 8.95 and as usual overpowered sometimes and just right others.. Not as many boats as I thought but still some nice rollers and boat chop. It was great to get back in the saddle. It has been almost 10 months since I have partaken of the forbidden fruit. I was a little worried that I had forgotten how to windsurf.. but it was like gettin back on a bike.. The wind line heading down toward me, leaning back, point the board downwind a bit, hook in, pump the fin and WOW!! I love this game!!!! I think I will have to do it again tomorrow..

Brett:
I was there, just up or down the lake at Sailboat beach with the cats. Trying to plan out next weeks event. I was on a start board with an 8.0. enough to get on a plane. Those boards can be pretty fun.
My son, Kenny, had his first ride across the lake on the front of the board. Besides the water being too cold for him, he liked the experience. When it warms up a little more he will get some more rides.
I saw two different Steves there. One I have never meet before and Steve from draper, who was killing it on his big carve and 9.0.
All in all, no clouds, lots of wind, warm temps made for a great family day on sailboat beach. By the way Jim, I saw you almost make it to the top. Great job cruising up the lake.
