Arrived 10:30 ish to Mark and others leaving, THANKS, at about 12:00 It kicked in. A bit up and down 14-34. getting very shallow and mossy, it may be all yours Kman. Time to think Gorge or Padrae, hope there is lots of north left, our south location may be gone. Maybe also time to think Landboarding, does Burmaster work on a South? Kinda sad to say goodbye to the pond but got almost 4 months in, first day was 2/18.

John,

It starts to get lonely at Rush this time of year. I can't understand why you all leave just as it is starting to get good. I must have a twisted perception, but isn't glassy water worth a bit of moss?

Don't be sad, there still is the salt ponds

Burmester is rideable on a south, but you have to be extra careful riding gusty south winds on a land board. Burmester is sweet on a steady north! Of course, the salt ponds or better yet the Morton evaporation ponds may tempt you away...

Me and Sal drove back out at around 6:00 and rode the smooth water and gusty wind till around 7:30. Pretty much powered on the 13. Great way to end the weekend.

Kenny,
Did you mean grassy rather than glassy? I don't really mind the moss, too much. I wonder, however, how heavy the SA would be with all the bridle lines covered with moss? It's the slog thru the mud that bothers me. I'll need to start using the skim board as the fins (1/2") on the glide are too long. Finless skim may be the ticket. Oh well, have a great time YOU'RE THE MAN. Oh yea, I'll also pass on the salt ponds, What a whimp, I am.
