Thurs. 7/5, Little Dell, 8.5
I saw the tip-off for Little Dell last night - the edge of a line of clouds over the very top of the Wasatch. You know something's up when the clouds are forming from winds pushing up the backside.
The gate opened at 8:00. The only UWA members not to be in the Gorge (besides Rick, who clearly had too much fun in Maui) were rigged and on the water in short order. The best wind was from 8:30-9:45, with white knuckles and stiff arms for many reaches.
It's so pretty, I'd probably drive up there just to hang at that time of day, assuming Grant brings beer and I don't have to work...
