8/21 Pineview 16m bul/door
Posted: Tue Aug 21, 2007 5:06 pmGot a quicky in, 20 mins riding, hurry like hell between meetings. Some good powered reaches and small jumps, could have been alot better, but not complaining.
Rode at a new location for me, not sure what to call it except by the road that dead ends there, Stringtown Road (5900 E). I'll try and get some pictures of the place, its pretty cool with the low water. It is basically off the north peninsula kind of kitty corner to cemetary point and the yacht club. There are two islands that have appeared, one good for jumping by the fast and furious and the other one good for catching you if you cant stay upwind, and a relativley large bay created by a sand bar for smooth water. I highly recommend checking the area out.
Interestingly, I called my buddy over who was waiting for wind across from windsurfer beach. He came over to kite and said there was nothing where he was.
