Sarah, Linda, Gunars, Sharon, and I ripped it up. Ben and Dana
joined us on several days. 7 for 9 as both Saturdays were pretty
windless. My favorite, was a 4.2 Hackery Friday with 6' clean swell
and strong solid wind for the early sesh. Many thanks to Sarah for
the Wells Island rescue after I blew up my 4.7 Thursday.

I'm going back for more!

Craig,

It was sure fun sailing with you guys! Sorry we missed you on Friday. We sailed Swell City all day. It was incredible 4.1 with beautiful green swell, consistent wind and very few sailors.

I had a great time on Thursday sailing down from the Hatch to the island with Sarah and then all the way back upwind to Swell City. The last 30 minutes was basically sailing alone in the main section of the Hatch. That doesn't happen every day!

What a place!!!! Looking for to next year!

Ben

What a great week in the Gorge

Good wind all week, and good company too. Ben I enjoyed getting to sail with you up to wells. You are an animal! I couldn't believe how many hours you stayed on the water. Constantly going for the big Airs!
And helping out Craig, was a great adventure, and a highlight of the trip. It was such a perfect 4.7 day, had a fun run up to Wells, when another friend told me about Craig. So back upwind I go as fast a possible, get some pieces, parts and tools, then back downwind to Wells to find Craig. Put things together as well as possible, downhaul the sail, which looked terrible by the way. It took a while for him to get back, since he walked upwind as far as possible, we just sailed around trying to keep an eye on him. Of course he made it back! I don't think that his day was as fun as mine, but it always a good day when you make it back to where you started, especially after equipment failure.
What a special place the Gorge is...I can't wait to go back next year!
