Although, it was the skunk of the year. Misery loves company, and we had a lot of company. Mark, Dean, Arpi, Todd, Billy, Sal, John, Mike M, and me -- and I may be forgetting someone.
The wind up at the north end of the lake seemed promising, but a stalled cell basically directly overhead SSB cockblocked us.

Not only did a whole bunch of us get skunked more than half of us had our kites pumped and lines attached awaiting the wind that never came. It was a skunk of monumental proportions.
But to our credit we weren't completely crazy. If you look at what happened at kPVU the wind came on at about 9:30 and lasted till midnight. It would have been a good one if it only arrived 4 hours earlier!
