Posted: Thu Nov 15, 2007 6:10 pmGREAT afternoon with DC Jim. Just we two vintage windaholics out and Nice 13M wind. Again the new kites are gust munchers. Self launch was good, then a fall from the sky episode and then another self launch, then a downwinder to the Island, Out of the sky once again and another self launch, this time off the rocks. All of this was in the first 5-10 minutes. Once I got out in the middle it was SWEET for the next almost 2 hrs (2:00-4:00). Nice swell, and good port ramps. Starting to get a little cold but the air was in the high 50's. Hoping this is not the last water day. Maybe tonight will get me psyched for the snow. See ya all at Brewbies.
