Checked all my links and figured it would be light from the West, and it was. Arrived around 1:00 and meter showed 8-12 mph. THROW and GO with the big FZ and never came off a plane for 10 miles of smooth kiting. Not as exciting as yesterday, needed to sign the kite on occasion to keep up speed (max was 20 mph) but snow was premo, untracked 1- 1 1/2 feet on the lake surface, similar on the shore line. Just cruzed around and talked with the fishermen. Went North from the Ladders to the quarry and then south to the View area and back several times. Started to go West, upwind, across to the lake to the Marina but as Luck would have it, the wind quit about 1/2 way across and I had to pack up the kite and put the skins on and tour on back to the Ladders. Nice to have a back up means of transportation. Nice day, OK light and contrast. As I was leaving Around 4:00 looked like it was starting up from the NW as I passed CC East and Strawbs River. Nobody there either???
